In view of increasing concern over environmental protection and growing popularity of environmentally-friendly products, we have been striving to develop a variety of environmentally-friendly material and packaging products. The latest product of our company is Degradable Plastic Bag that was developed by adopting the technology of Symphony UK. Our research and other laboratory tests showed that our Degradable Plastic Bags would start to decompose under suitable humidity and temperature to lower-weight molecules, then resulting in a loss of strength and other properties, and eventually to the simplest units that are amenable to conversion by micro-organism. This process is superior to other bio-degradable products that require an active bio-environment (such as landfill) before the degradation process is initiated. With superior properties, our Degradable Plastic Bags aim to mitigate and then eliminate the pollution problem of plastic bags to our environment.

Presently, many factories in Europe, US, Japan and Taiwan have already adopted degradable plastic material in their products like plastic bag and plastic tableware. In Hong Kong, we produce Degradable Plastic Bag for the packaging of “Golden Elephant” rice. Under suitable conditions, the rice bag can have a shelf life up to 30 months before degradation takes place. Degradable Plastic Bags also fit for other types of packaging, like newspaper bag, taken-away bag, supermarket shopping bag, bakery bag and even fashion bag etc. It delivers convenience and other benefits to consumer as conventional plastic bags do, but also help companies build up a “green” image and broaden market coverage.
